The Celtic Mansion August Review

Karen Aitken and I were a couple of Nonie and Eugene’s first guests in their new venture hosting their bed and breakfast in Little Bras D’or on Cape Breton. We want to encourage everyone to make the trip to their incredible mansion. It is guaranteed to be like no other Bed and Breakfast you have ever stayed at.

Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite and a bed so comfy you will want to stay there all day, but you know there is scenery to search out and a pool and hot tub for your pleasure if you should decide to stay around the mansion for a few hours at some point during your stay.

Nonie cooks up a fabulous breakfast that she serves to guests in her massive dining room of red! There is a parlour filled with all sorts of musical instruments that you just might be lucky enough to hear Nonie and Eugene do a few songs together as we were.

Someday the relic elevator will surely be back in service again if at all possible.

So much to discover when you book a stay at Celtic Manor with Eugene and Nonie.

  2. Thank you Nonie, Eugene, and Nora for a wonderful visit at the Celtic Mansion! The mansion is so special, featuring elegant chandeliers and antiques, comfortable beds to melt into, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We loved it and our hosts spoiled us with freshly made bread, tea biscuits, and froendship. We’ll be back!
